John Randolph Medical Center Celebrates National Nurses Week with Return to Traditional White Uniforms
Hopewell, VA (May 8, 2008) - John Randolph Medical Center celebrated National Nurses Week, May 6 - 12, with a variety of activities to show appreciation to the nursing staff. JoAnne Henry, Director of the Central Virginia Nursing Leadership Institute, was the keynote speaker at Tuesday's kickoff celebration. Many JRMC nurses wore traditional nursing uniforms to mark the occasion. In addition, members of the administration team shadowed nurses in various departments throughout the hospital to view firsthand what they handle on a daily basis.
